Andaman Travel by Boat Road Bus & Motor Bike
This part of the Andaman Sea is a ideal travel destination moving around between beaches, National Parks , islands and great Nature needs mobility and here all is at your fingertips. There is not much difference on the Malaysian part but it is a totally other situation in Myanmar with probably the worst road system and transportation system in the Andaman Sea, on most islands they only have dirt treks. That might be interesting for adventure travel but is annoying for any other, they really have a lot to do but don't do anything. On the other side they could do a lot which wont cost money and instantly bring tourists into the country and means money to the people but they wont allow the foreigners into the country by just doing the same way like all other countries around with visa on arrival. The problem they have it a very typical one.
Most embassies and consulates of Myanmar or Burma
"live" purely on the money which is coming in by the visa fees, when they don't squeeze the tourists to pay they cant operate. That's the scenario, they just don't want that other of their countrymen get the cash although that would be the best solution. E.g. there is plenty of visa traffic between the two countries they call it "visa run" means when the Thai visa expires make a trip to the other side and get a new one but only for 2 weeks on the Thai side. If someone would like to travel to Kawthaung which is opposite Ranong he or she cant cross the city limits.
If they would like to do that they need to get a visa from the Bangkok consulate although the immigration on both side is connected to the main computer. All is so cumbersome and nobody cooperates with the others.
